Simple Day

Today was one of the best days of the entire summer. We went to see my friend Shannon's NEW salon! Then we packed a lunch and spent a couple hours at Woodland. We made some new friends (found out her daughter is blind. WOW, do we have a lot to be thankful for!) We also went to Cascade Bay at 7:45 after skating and shut them down. Very cold, but pretty cool to have the entire pool to yourself! Little Bailey is such a peanut, she can pretty much go anywhere with us...sorry Bud!

Malibu Time

Lucy had a Malibu treatment today in an attempt to get her hair back to normal!

Science in our front yard!

Our neighbors have a ton of monarch caterpillars on their bushes and we have been able to watch them create cocoons and hatch! Dan even set up his camcorder to record one coming to life...so magical!

My Little Mermaid

Lucy started swimming lessons on Monday! She has a nice, small class of 3 and she's doing really well. The time is a killer though, because she's so used to sleeping in. I guess it's good practice for school in a month!

Just Mommy and Lucy!

It seems like every time we have gone somewhere this summer we have had other kids with us. Today, just Lucy and I took a day for ourselves. We went to Como Zoo, and then came home and went to Cascade Bay for a couple hours tonight. We found a cute, little boutique in St. Paul called "Stella Blue" and bought some fun jewelry. It was a great day!

Can't keep this girl away from water. This picture makes me picture her in high school with all of her friends having a carwash! She's such a nut.

So glad it's over...

We made some good cash, but I am so TIRED!
