Friday at the Farm

The farm babies have arrived at the zoo. I didn't get any pictures of them, but they sure were cute!

Lucy(pulling into the zoo): Look Mommy, O-O-Z says ZOO!
Me: PROUD...Hey, at least she got all the letters!

It was my turn after her and she told me she would hold my hand.

Easter

Lucy was in Heaven yesterday, eating nothing but junk all day! I had to stop the madness last night at Grandma's when she came in the kitchen with a chocolate bunny in one hand and a lollypop ring on the other! The Easter Bunny happened to be where we went out for brunch and Lucy couldn't get enough of him. She refused to smile for a picture in her dress!

Sorting Colors

Lucy told me to go away and when she called for me she had all her shapes in different colored piles. She was very proud of herself.

Happy Birthday!

I won't forget this one for a while. I went to the doctor tonight and found out I have strep. Mark and Lucy had a cake waiting when I got home. Lucy sang Happy Birthday to me and blew out the candles.

Another day at the zoo!

Lucy and I spent the morning at the zoo on Sunday. I got scolded by a volunteer for picking up a starfish but I couldn't resist. Lucy thought the noise buttons were fun.

Lucy whips his butt and she's 3! We've always known Daddy doesn't have a very good memory. :)

Lucy told me she wanted to "jam on the bed" tonight. This consists of her stressing me out that she'll jump right off the bed while we dance to music. Yes, I let my child jump on the bed. Lately, our songs of choice have been No One by Alicia Keys, I'm Alive by Celine Dion and Where is the Love by the Black Eyed Peas. It's so nice to be so loved and to have such a great buddy!

Late Night Lucy

Lucy took a very late nap yesterday so she wasn't ready for bed when I was. This morning I asked her if she snuck out of bed to see Daddy when he came home from the video store last night. She said she did and then she says..."Mommy, you say to me you're a stinker". She's so funny. Check out the party her dolls were having last night. I wonder if boys do this also???
