Cooling Off

Lucy and I went to the zoo again on Tuesday. It was too hot to walk around for very long so we tried out the monorail for the first time. Lucy was very excited but after 1/2 a mile into in she had had "enough." She took a little dip in the fountain on the way out to cool off!

Just the Girls

We spent Saturday at Cascade Bay with Grandma Barb, Jackie and Janey. Before any of us knew what was happening, Janey took off for the kiddie slide and dunked herself. She has no fear! Both girls went down the waterslide with me. Janey didn't really know what she was getting into on the way up, but she did ok.

Toddler Tuesday

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since I've added to this...we've had some camera troubles here. In late June our new camera was destroyed after being left on a chair over night during some rain. Then we forgot the charger to our old camera at a hotel in Brainerd. We did get some great fishing pictures at the cabin with Grandpa's camera, but they forgot that one up north as well. We'll get them up as soon as we can. We went to the Mall of America with Nesha and Livia yesterday. The girls had fun watching Raggs the Dog perform, and we walked around looking at all the rides. It was so fun to see them again!

Mark taught Lucy how to reel up her line last night. We are going on a trip to the cabin this weekend. Hopefully we'll catch some real fish!

Happy 4th of July

We are going to the Eagan parade tomorrow and maybe we will try out some rides at the carnival. Tomorrow night we are going to watch some fireworks, but this year we'll leave the dogs home. Last year they were scared to death. I believe Lucy has reached a milestone...she has begun the WHY stage. And oh, how fun that is! :)
