Good Job, Daddy!

Mark and John fished together in a tournament over the weekend. This was their third year fishing in it. They placed 9th out of 50 boats! We had a hard time believing that Lucy and Janey were only infants the first summer we went up for it...Jackie and I had a laugh remembering how we took both babies and three dogs on the pontoon ourselves! Mark was pretty tired after the final weigh-in. He had been in Brainerd pre-fishing since Tuesday afternoon. Lucy was really happy to see her daddy again.

Fun at the zoo!

We had a fun time today at the zoo with Katie and Ruthie. It was a pretty hot day for the girls but they trooped on through. Lucy thought the guy in the fish tank was pretty cool, and she pet and fed the goats this time!

Summer has arrived!

It has been wonderful being home with Lucy. We are keeping busy with lots of playground visits(her favorite thing to do) and playing outside in the water. We went to Cascade Bay on Monday. Lucy was very brave to go down the tube waterslide with Mommy! We are looking forward to going to the zoo on Friday with my friend Katie and her niece, Ruthie.

Introducing Sasha!!!

We welcomed a new addition to our family today. She is a 7 week old kitty and we named her Sasha. Lucy fell asleep on the way to get her and didn't even realize we had her until we were home in the driveway. The dogs and Lucy are doing great with the "new kid" and Sasha is getting spunkier by the minute. I was supposed to wait until next weekend when school was over, but I found the add on the web, did a little begging and here we are!
